The owner of the school Claire Sibley is a very experienced and highly qualified dance teacher, she is supportive of individual students and does all that she can to make sure that they reach their full potential – both inside and outside of the school. Ewell Dance put on an excellent show at the Epsom Playhouse in 2018 where the quality of dance and performance across all age groups was at a very standard. My daughter passed her ISTD Intermediate Ballet exam on the first attempt with Claire’s coaching – this is a very high level which also earns UCAS points. Claire, actively supported my daughter with her application to study A level dance at the Royal Academy of Dance and since she has been running Ewell Dance the variety of classes on offer has widened. Older children at the school often have the chance to assist in the younger children’s classes, giving them the opportunity to experience what it is like to teach dance, it also inspires the younger dancers and makes the school have a close-knit community feel.
