







Miss Claire – Principal.
BA (Hons) LRAD ISTD CDE ISTD DDE DIP BBO (TQL6) ATS RTS QTLS.
Miss Claire trained at the Royal Academy of Dance gaining her BA (Hons) in the Art and Teaching of Ballet and Licentiate for excellence in ballet teaching. She has a Certificate of Dance Education and a Diploma in Dance Education from the ISTD and a Diploma in Dance from the British Ballet Organization.
Miss Claire has been teaching for eighteen years in London and New York. She has taught dance with Tring Park School for Performing Arts, Italia Conti Theatre School and was a Choreographer at The National Youth Ballet.
As a Choreographer Claire has devised a version of Petrushka for the Wimbledon Music Festival, making innovative use of puppets and projections and working with dancers from ENB, Matthew Bourne and Rambert. Whilst living in New York Claire worked as a Teacher with Rockland Youth Dance; her students starred in Broadway's Mary Poppins.
Claire has been a Mentor for trainee teachers on the Royal Academy of Dance's Professional Dancers Teaching Certificate. Claire regularly has trainee teachers with the ISTD assist her to complete the teaching hours need to gain the Diploma in Dance Education.
Claire has also taught at Italia Conti, Central School of Ballet and London Theatre School.
Claire has her DBS check, first aid, safeguarding training and chaperones license.
Miss Clare ISTD DDE RTS - Teacher
Clare started her training at Laine Theatre Arts at aged 4 and was also on the associate programme at Central School of Ballet. After this she went on to train for a further 3 years at the Northern Ballet School in Manchester where she gained a DaDA award. She studied ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, commercial, singing and acting. She also gained her ISTD teaching qualifications in ballet, modern and tap.
Since graduating in 2017, Clare has danced in theatre production shows on a cruise ship travelling around South America and Northern Europe. She has also danced in various professional dance videos as well as charity and corporate events. Clare also has her DBS, safeguarding training and First AId.
Miss Aimee - Ba (Arts) - Teacher
Aimee has a wealth of both teaching experience and performing experience. She has a Degree in Contemporary Dance from London Contemporary Dance School and has also trained at the world famous Trinity Laban School for Contemporary.
Aimee has dance professionally in over 20 shows, including at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, London Fashion Week and the Royal Opera House.
Aimee also has her DBS, safeguarding training and first aid trained.
Miss Fran - DDI ISTD
Fran started dancing when she was 3 years old at Laine theatre arts, when she was 16 she then attended the London Russian ballet school in clapham full time for 3 years where she trained in ballet, pointe, character, and Pas de deux, Fran done numerous shows a year with the school in theatres around London and in primary schools. Fran began teaching little ones at LRBS alongside her training and realised this is what she loves to do and is currently with the ISTD finishing her DDE.
She is DBS checked, safeguarding trained and first aid trained.
